Wrap Up 2010

2010 is finally coming to an end. *no joke!*

Well 2010 has really been an eventful year for me. So many changes took place in my life. Some for the better some well not so.

Right at the beginning of the year was pretty strange, full of uncertainty. I just finish my last paper as a student and went to Bangkok for a few days before 2010. I started of 2010 with nervousness I might say. What was I suppose to do now that its all over. What do I do? Work? Continue a master program? ~~Travel the world?~~

Well after praying really really hard, going for exhibitions, talking to people, praying again, going for interviews it seems I was to enter the working world. And so here I am, at work. It took my 7 interviews to finally land a job. Could definitely have been more.

This year, there were some life changing? moments..

Firstly on my list would be getting the dengue fever from the little flying vampires. Wow was that tough. I spent a good 7 days lying on the hospital bed. Basically I was fed panadol and got my blood checked every day... till the second last day where my blood count drop below what the doctor was comfortable with. With that he decided he better get my blood checked TWICE a day. So the nurse came and drew blood twice a day for two days. NOT NICE.

Oh and on the panadol I've roughly did a calculation on how many I had.

4 hours = 2 biji

24 hours = 12 biji

7 days = 84 biji

2 days before dengue I was already on panadol

6 hours = 2 biji

24 hours = 8 biji

2 days = 16 biji

Total dengue panadol consumption in 9 days

84+16 = 100 biji

* note I think these are AT LEAST. Cause in between these weeks there were a couple of times where my temperature spiked and I got a special kind of panadol.

The next life changing experience I think was when I skidded around on the highway. One second I was listening to the radio exiting the highway, next thing I knew I was going in a circle. Oh this plus another accident the same week. I got involved in a 5 car pile up on the North South Expressway. I think the PLUS people closed the highway a good 10 minutes because of us. Nasty jam we caused I tell ya! From these two car related accident I BELIEVE I drive more slowly now. Not SLOW, but slower.

Some of the more memorable things this year. Hmm.

I started work, got my first pay check! I believe ever college/uni kid out there has a list of Things-To-Buy with their very first pay check. I was no different. I had an ridiculous long list as well. However with my first pay check I bought my self a pair of Nike running shoes. My very first pair of Nike shoes. That was also because of my new? hobby, running around :) Bata shoes, well they dont provide enough support to the knees. Hurts after a few kilometers.

That was the first thing I got. And the last. It was impossible to fulfill the Things-To-Buy list! I guess the more you earn the more things you want. A never ending cycle. I guess the best is to be content with what you have.

I can't wait for next year! What's install, all the new changes and events and also partially I'm gonna spend the first week of next year in a far far away land. 3 hours 50 minutes to be exact. :) Most probably more on that next post?

Handicap

Handicap. What's it like being handicap? Well now Ive got a chance to "feel" whats it like. Well not really what's it like, just maybe 1% handicapped.

Last week I got into an accident. A very stupid could have been prevented accident, more like I did this on myself type of accident. I shall not talk about how I got it but rather how its been being "handicapped". So now Ive got my leg stitched up, yes stitched up and bandaged nicely Im all set to be "handicapped" for awhile.

Yes, you see handicapped people everywhere, day in day out until they make no difference whatsoever in your life. You do. Dont deny it. Well since Im stitched up now, I take a second to think how fortunate I am that my disability is only temporary every time I see someone who is actually handicapped. For life.

Being "handicapped" makes doing daily activities a whole lot difficult. Simple things you wouldnt have to use your brain activities requires some effort. Taking a shower is tricky, you gotto make sure the bandaged part doesnt get wet.

Walking about is also hard. You basically can hobble around, not walk. I think Im gettin better at this hobbling part.

Lastly being "handicapped", means I cant jog/carry my weights for a week or two which for me is the HUGEST draw back of this accident. AIIIIII!!!

Life : The Next Chapter

Well, it has been two weeks since I embarked on this new journey in life. The working life. Im currently workin at KL. Technology Park Malaysia, beside Bukit Jalil. It is a totally new way of life, of what Ive been used too. Being a student is the bestest thingy ever. I basically wanna make a comparison of life here and back home.

1. Traffic
Here: Traffic here is fast!
Home: I thought I drove fast till I came here. Wow. Now Im the one driving slow

2. Traffic lights #1
Here: Once the light turns green people actually start moving!
Home: Once the light turns green people start realizing it, think about it, look for clutch, look for gear number 1 then moove.

3. Traffic lights #2
Here: When the light turns green the fourth or third car will automatically start blaring their horns as if you were asleep and forgot to move.
Home:People tend to wait patiently with the car infront if they dont move.

4.Traffic lights #3
Here:Red?
Home:If the green was on long, before it starts flickering, people will already slow down.

5.Traffic lights #4
Here:People will get as close to you
Home:You can fit a truck in between!

6.Lunch
Here:5 bucks for lunch here is possible. You gotta look around, watch what you pile up on your plate.Drinks maybe...depends
Home:5 bucks for anythin and everythin. Yes, drinks included.

7.Small brains
Here:Plenty of wannabes. Kelisas horning and flashing high beam on Porches, Alphards, Mercs, BMWs. Yes, I notice its Kelisas. Anybody care to explain why??
Home:They drive and block up the fast lane. This is general la, not Kelisas. ALL* cars block the fast lane. Dunno whats it for meh!?

9.Car Park
Here:5 bucks a day? Hmm..not bad. Reasonable.

I am surivin! woohoo! Atleast theres the pay here. Which is uh. not enough to cover expenses and loans. But at least once back home I can turn the brain OFF till the next morning. Somethin unlike students can do. Which I do miss! Hahahah

JUST got back from dinner here.

The pizza here compared to the other one is simply fantastic! The crust isnt too thick till you feel like eatin a thick slice of bread instead.

Breadstick here is actually GOOD compared to the other one which is err ~~not nice~~ edible.

Baked rice is good! Rice is super soft. More cheese would be right. The amount of meat and vege is alright just not enough cheese.

The sauces! MY! They gave two dishes of the pizza tomatoey sauce, which was good, then (see top right corner) yea.. that was garlic butter! Definitely off limits for those watchin their weight. The taste of that melted butter with your breadsticks/pizza... oh so nice. Whats not to like about butter right? Not free flowing though. 1MYR for refill.

Overall its a definitely will go again place. The other place has lost my vote.

Ok Ive just got back from the post office after a good while. Lemme give you the senario.
Its crowded, people take numbers to get in line. Mostly are there to pay their bills.
There are three counters here at Tesco. Since there were alot of people they decided to open counter one and two just to pay bills.

Fair enough. It keeps the traffic moving smoothly.
Counter 3 still requires to follow the number called out. But since many people were there to pay their bills, their numbers were not counted.

So there was I, waiting near counter 3. The lady will punch in the next number wait a couple seconds then call out the next number. My number was 1054. A elderly malay couple with number 1056 decided "hey why not jump in and cut queue?" while the counter lady was still at number 1051. Ok to be fair I gave them the benefit of doubt. Maybe they really did thought that the numbers 1052- 1055 were already gone.

After going to the counter your suppose to put in your piece of paper with your number on into a little basket. To my absolute disbelief, these two old people turn around and happyily joked and laughed and gave their number to another young malay lady! Asking her to go to the counter to get attended immdiately! ABOSULETY INCREDIBLE!

First you cut queue. Then gave your number which has not even been called to another customer and askin her to get attended to immdiately? WOW!

Anyway by that time counters 1 and 2 were done with all the bill paying customers and I was called to counter 2... to get registered as a voter as persisted by dad. ~~I fail to see the point of voting.~~

Bangkok

Durin the last week of 09, I went on a holiday with my family over 1,600 km up north to Bangkok, Thailand

The food there was superb. Lemme put in it one word for you, PORK!

My favourite is their bee hoon soup with pork balls. Must be a national dish or somethin, cause its sold EVERYWHERE! something like we have hee kiau and wantan mee everywhere here they have this everywhere there.

Its totally unlike our bee hoon soup here which I do not eat. Their bee hoon is slighty different. Their soup guessin they use pork balls they must have used pork bones for the soup. A good heap of bones.

Oh and their pork. According to mum it doesnt have the pork "smell". The pork over there is extremely tender and wonderful!

This is the uh...3rd or 4th floor of a mall. A HUGE high classy mall. They have an entire floor dedicated to sell BMWs, Maserati, Lotus, Porshe and Audi. Beat that Msia! All on the same floor in a mall. Cool.

Here's the menu of Chili's in Malaysia as of Nov 09. I've looked around the internet for our local menu as ours is halal(but they serve alcohol) but coundn't find one. So here it is. For your references if your ever gonna try this place... and for my own reference too :p

Over the years one can see technology in cameras has become more and more advance. For example in this picture

see the difference? The left hand side was taken 2 years back (@Redang) with a 2mp Sony Ericsson mobile phone (W810i) while the right hand side was taken recently in October (@Tioman) with a 7.2mp Sony camera (W120).

Notice that the camera on the left is not very clear. One can clearly see the noise and distortion compared with the one on the right which is clear.

As time goes on technology will surely become even more advanced. In fast as of time of posting the most number of mp packed into a mobile phone camera is 12.1!

* :p Fat vs not so fat. After a year of exercisin. ;) As of posting I am 1kg overweight! woohoo!

Last Sunday I had the chance to try out Chili's @ megamall. The food is GREAT. Prices well. are on the high side...blah. expensive. yes you definitely are getting double portion in sizes if compared to normal cafe's/ Wok & Pan :D but after including all the taxes they end up pretty high. cheapest mains start from uh 20 ...ish...right up to steaks which i didnt quite bother to take note of la. so i think its fair to say that it is about 30 bucks per head when comes to dinin here. That is IF you stick to your one main. As if right. You gotta try their appetizers... drinks and what not right. I think its a more of a twice or thrice place to eat in a year.*

*im a student. if i were super rich this may change

If only all salads were this good!. It had tiny tiny few bits of cheese in it which brought a once in a while saltiness to the dish. Very unique.

the beef was nearly 3/4 of an inch? they didnt overwhelmed the meat with seasonin. You still could taste the natural taste of the beef. havin it done medium allowed some meat juices to still ooze out after every bite.

see double portion. normally all you get is one piece. the tartar sauce is really thick!. unlike the bottle ones

Uh southern fried chicken?

uh...dunno. but it had beef ribs, chicken, rice, bacon, corn on cob, beans, some salsa dressing?
tender beef but not fall off the bone. crisp bacon. very nice rice. butter rice or somethin. the sauce was ketchupy? with bbq sauce i think. the beans which came with it on the other hand was yucky. didnt taste right/good at all.

cant wait till my next round here!

The stall in the middle serves the one of the best two roti canai there is. The drinks (teh tarik & teh ais) is the best in the world. Yet the prices at this little stall is quite resonable. 80 cents for a kosong and a buck for the teh tarik. They have other types of food too, capati sometimes, the murtabak is good too....chunky...definetly one of the best, nasi lemak, mee goreng, kueh, mee kari, lontong.... lots eh....

This place is located at opp Syarikat Air :D , the empty parking lot opp. Go give it a try in the mornings. You'll definetly be satisfied.

Tioman Island

Last tuesday a few friends and I headed for a holiday after our training/exams. We went to Tioman :D

The journey was pretty long as the bus from Melaka to Mersing took about 4 hours? If not mistaken stoppin to pick up and drop passengers at Muar and Kluang.

The ferry ride was long too compared to Redang which I went a couple years back.

As for the place between these two island well. It definetly hard to call which is better..
Foodwise Tioman wins hands down. They have cafes/restaurants/a bar selling food. Any kind of food you want you can get it.
Swimmin wise however I personally feel that Redang is a whole lot better.
But for more activities/shoppin Tioman is better as they have a duty free shop.
Tioman is very well developed compared to Redang.
I think on MY scale of 10. Redang is 10/10. Tioman will sit beside it at 9.5/10. Very hard to decide which is better. But if given a chance I will definely go back.

Went to the waterfall as well at the southern part of the island.

53MYR. Cheap! Especially the beer...fuuuu..... had one before snorkellin even. 2.5 for limau ais. 3 for a Bud. What would you choose?

Oh price wise. Well the food prices are STEEP. YOU gotta budget yourself out with activities and food.
My holiday cost around 380. Inclusive transportation/food/activities/alcohol/lodging/etc. Quite resonable I think.

A&W Melaka

The drink, good. BUT you can do it yourself. Get a bottle of A&W and a tub of ice cream. Ta-da homemade float. Just as good, waaaaay cheaper.

The food. Sucks. Waited for half an hour. You'd expect waiting for so long for it to be good and hot right? Nope, came out plain and warm only and the beef toppings was say... you'll know that it has been frozen and reheated. Size was also not very big. Its something like a mc chicken burger? But double the price!

The service. Way of the charts. I went in at 1.20, place an order waitied till 1.48 for them to get the order wrong then waited another 5 minutes to get the right order. Finished it in a minute or two. The service is really really bad. One of the worst. Definetly the worst for a fast food restaurant.

My lunch was 40 minutes at a fast food outlet. That isnt my definition of fast food. Plus lunch aint cheap. My bro and I had two floats, 2 hotdogs, 2 regular fries. Came up to 22++

I doubt I would go back. Maybe for a float ONLY.

On the other hand he's an active chrisitian. He's usin his fame to promote a christian national activity in the USA sometime in Oct. The ALPHA course.

Paintball

Last Saturday i got the opportunity to play paintball.. it was cheap RM30 but still expensive.. the irony eh...

Flashpoint paintball located near the Bukit Katil Mosque...behind it. There are two playing fields. An obstacle type course and jungle course. The latter being more fun and challenging! The obstacle course game play is very quick. No mercy. Run out "bang, bang" and your out. On the jungle course however is gets fun. You get to crawl around, hide around tress, and oh get ambushed! I got ambushed from the back in one game. Yikes.

When the ball hits you, you feel a small thud on yourself. The first ball that hits you kinda hurts. After that its just thuds on you. But you do get bruises you can wear a while with pride! :D

Tyre

This, is my brand new tyre. Been using it for ONLY THREE weeks. THEN a got a hole at the side. A TINY TINY hole. Nearly impossible to find unless been pointed out. Unrepairable. So I had to change this brand new tyre for another brand new one. What a way to spend RM180!! (for tyre + balancing +alignment)

Going to finish my industrial training next wednesday! Cant wait. Then got a industrial training presentaion the followin week then im off till the 26th! .... been a year since a really had a holiday! Tirin....

Dengue

Just last week my brother caught the dengue virus.it attacks the white blood cells till it drops...then the body has no immune system... but thank God he managed to overcome it. It was just about critical...white blood cells normally is within the range of 140-400...my bro's one dropped all the way till 68 before startin to pick up slowly. at time of writtin his blood cells are currently 88...but still risin. now including my bro...three houses in a row caught this virus. my neighbour's case was the most serious....his blood cells were so low till he was in icu...pumping blood into him...

working in a tall building definetly has its advantages. my office is located at the top floor. the floor above is the roof. nearly everyday ill go up to take a breater and enjoy the scenery from above. one can see the entire city from above. im sure at night the view would be even better!

7 months

The last 7 months were really incredible. I owe it all to God who helped get through it. It was extremely difficult and many a times I felt like giving up and trying again next year. But due to financial constraints(its expensive to study!) and lots of praying I passed both sems. Not only did i pass both sems I actually managed to get a Dean's list during my short sem! My first Dean's list for my degree programme! and for the last sem I managed to pull my pointer up by .04. Not much, but really good coming from the point where I thought I was gonna fail the sem and I actually failed some mid terms and my coursework marks.

I took my final year project as I mentioned a dozen times earlier. This project was stretched out to two sems. One long and one short. During the first sem, the short one, the project was the research part. I studied my topic wrote a report, present it, easy peasy. Coming to the second sem was the killer! Actual implementation of my project. This involved litterally 5 months of everyday programmin. I even started durin my hols.. the one between my short and long sem! Eventually through HIM I managed to accomplished my goal. I still cant believe I managed to do such a task. hmmm..

After last sem I took a quick "holiday" by goin up to my dad's place for a weekend. It was basically a makan trip. Steamboat with a twist! Instead of your normal standard pot in the middle with soup, it was porridge instead. The rest is your normal steamboat. A local "chu cha" shop nearby my dad's place had the best "loh mee" with PRAWNS. Add a dash of vinegar and waaa....I'm salivanating as Im typing....Oh and their fish was great too. Deep fried till you could eat nearly the whole thing with a generous helping of their "tau chiu" sauce? Cant remember what was it. Just that it was good!

I'm now doin my industrial trainin. Where? Syarikat Air Melaka Berhad (SAMB). Located at Graha Maju or near Hang Tuah mall. This will be my "home" for the next 4 months. Right up to the end of Sept before I start my last sem at the end of Oct.

SAMB wasnt that a bad choice as i presumed earlier. Yes they are a goverment body but I have been workin. :D However the downside working here is that there is no allowance given. Yep. Im working for free. yay!. Plus now I need to pay for parking(RM2!) a day and that lunch cost RM5 minimum( and no chinese food). On the other hand I can save on petrol...I used to pump gas thrice in two weeks, now once in two weeks... and that too isnt a full tank! In the end it works out to be the same. Working hours are fine for me 8-5 mon fri. Sats are off! Yippeyaiyei!!!!

I had for the first time in Malaysia...PANCAKES...or rather hotcakes at McD. Ive never had this in Malaysia before. So when I bit into it, it immediately brought me memories when I was back in Cananda where dad would bring me for McD breakfast somewhere near a highway. It cost only C$0.99! Another Tyre Incident

Another tyre incident! Well it wasnt meet this time and got nothing to do with me. A long my way back from mmu again i was following this van who had a chunk of rubber off his back tyre, the tyre was still ok, not bald, just a chuck of rubber missing and he was drivin on the inner tube! The driver definetly knew about this as he had his hazard lights on. So this guy move along to the right lane attempting to make a right turn, so I drove on by passin him on the left then as i was exatly parrallel to that missin piece of rubber tyre it exploded! BAOOOM!!!! I tiok chuak man! Thts all...haha....just really LOUD and i tiok chuak kau kau. Fuuuuuu~~~~~~~~

This happened say 20 minutes ago.
Came out of MMU drivin alond the road to U-turn at the lights.
Was doin no more than 45KM/hr third gear super slow.
Security van at a junction turn in.
Clear miss judge my slow speed and I nearly rammed into it side on!
DAM STUPID DRIVER MAN!
I avoided it by turnin left sharply and braking hard sharply.
Tyres burned and squel and squek and got all nice and smokey.
Poor ol poor ol Kancil burnt rubbers again...

Lessons learned.
1. Drive FASTER. Why? You drive slow ppl will miss judge your speed your comin on. Plus when drivin fast ppl are more aware of you.
2.Turnin and brakin sharply in a Kancil at 40KM/hr WILL make the car move sideways. :D

in other news im startin my last (hopefully) long sem! the next few months will be tough as i will have a final year project to complete. it may be awhile till my next post? hmmm....and last sem results were pretty good as well. being two math subs i scored double A's! Imagine that! now after two years in degree..27 subs i accumulated 4 A's!! wooooweee.....so the happy...see 4/27...im not smart hor....hahaha

today ive tried somethin new while exercisin...ya have to exercise u know....i went for a jog with my mp3 player after i found new interesin album RUN & WORSHIP. its basically a mix cd of various artist compiled into a cd. its very much an upbeat praise songs. very nice when runnin...if ur as resourceful* as me you'll know where to get it...they gt other versions too....WALK & WORSHIP and MEDITATE & WORSHIP. if u cant find it i guess u could compile it urself based on the tracks.

A few days back I received a letter. An official letter. Wow! The last i received an official one was way back when applyin for U. Well upon seein the letter with my name I saw it was from JPJ. Woops! The first thought that came into my mind was "Ah s***!!! I finally kena my first speeding ticket. Crap man!"

I tore open the letter(notice the unproper tearin on top?) and glance through quickly and all it said was please remember to renew your license blah blah blah. Boy was I relieved when it wasnt a speeding ticket or a ticket for that matter!!

On other news, have you stumbled across chinese burger? I believe its my first seein such...hmmm...its bascially "bak hu" or "bak kua" in between the normal two slices of bread and some condiments. with or without egg.

Wrapping Up 2008

Wow 2008 has come and is endin in a matter of days. this year has been a pretty fast year. I seem to notice that years are getting faster and faster!

I will be ending my second year soon and enterin my final year. According to calculations next year it will be last year attendin classes. i have 8 months of academic classes and a 4 month industrial trainin stint.

This year was also very interestin in many ways. It was the first time I organized a big event , Royal Rangers Annual Camp 2008. This was quite challenging as I normally am in charge of events in a event! The experience learnt was real good. Hopefully there are more events to organize (I'm not volunteerin!!) in the future. but having said so organizin isnt somethin easy. it is real hard. lots of effort goes into it! And oh yea. the most important thing is havin a GREAT committee to work with...uh...second....God first.....committee members are important.

Next, will be my dad loosin his job! bummer. not many know about this. my dad came back after Raya 07(prev workin in jb) and settled down for a year back in good ol' Melaka. however a year later before Raya 08 his boss lost a contract so that affected my dad. and this was the beginnin of all the price hikes and recession enterin in. wow what a time huh. nonother the less after prayin and fastin as a family, he ended up gettin a job in Cyberjaya, thats where he is now. slightly better pay but no car and extra expenses needed for travellin and lodgin. all praise and thanks be to God lookin after us durin that time.

A new addition into the family! A new car. we bought a new 1.3 myvi as dad needed a car and so did mum. i'm still sticked to my kancil...no complains man! i know whats it like without a car!! well this myvi is our family's first ill say real car! its quiet....smooth....fast.....big!....has a cd player!...its the most exp car we owned! Praise God!!!! (im against proton! brand new also got weird sound wan plus other experiences if u owned a proton u'll know)

Well thts about it for now for 2008. been a quite a normal year with just classes and exams all year round. next year will be my last degree year...guess i better enjoy myself!

Second year final sem/first sem final year

On Monday I shall embark on my final year* which simply means super hard work! woohoo?? and a four month industrial training period! yay?

this sem and next sem will i will have this thing called Final Year Project where we would have to come up with a piece of software/program. aih it is scary!!! after these two sems it would be that industrial training program...then i can take a breather. two months more of studying with two subs... then it would be all over.... super fast!

This sem that just finish i did pretty well. for me la. im no genius by the way. this part is to thank God and give Him all the glory. i finally mananged to score A in my subject since i started my degree program not foundation! in fact i managed to score two A's out of 6 subjects i took! not only i got my first A i got two of em!!! i was super happy! i mainly get B's(+/-)....(and 4 C+'s so far yikes!) so here it is THANK YOU LORD! i know that i couldnt have done it without Him. and oh ya not to forget...prayer works!

well since this is the only available donut shop in the whole of malacca, it's nice. a donut is better then none right?

IF compared to Dunkin' Donuts, Dunkin' Donuts are a whole lot better. For the same price you can get a bigger more "pang" donut.

the gender issue

firstly i shall say i will not mentioned which gender this is. however you are most welcomed to guess.

well this happened last wednesday. i was on my way drivin as usual to campus for lessons. i was on the SLOW lane...yep i do actually drive in the slow lanes at times....
ok so there i was drivin..listenin to my fav radio station...litefm...when suddenly this green proton...Axx xxxx from the right lane just swerved into my lane. then i horned and flash the driver...i did notice at the lights earlier tht it was a (fill in a gender here) driver. a mmu student.
well when this driver came into my lane, no signal lights nothin i had to move away right...else bang...so i was ran off the road....luckily there was sorta an emergency lane? or side of the road....

i personally durin my 2 yrs plus now..that this gender when they drive you gotta be extra careful....they do things well....steady la....i would also like to say that not all of this particular gender is all bad...no no..it would be unfair...but MOST off them ar...bei tahan la....

the other gender...the opposite wan which u think fits the above description also there are some of them which are careless drivers too...but not many la i think..

so you may guess which gender driver ran me off road..
oh ya! to add to this...my friend of this gender is also...say a lousy driver? my friend got his/her "c" license but didnt actually drove before.....no drivin after obtainin "p",
so one day my friend drove. for the first time. guess what. my friend got involved in an accident.

this like kinda confirms that this particular gender aint very good when drivin...do you have the same problem? but i do wanna clearly state that....it is NOT all of them....just MOST of them.

Why am I not satisfied with what I am blessed with?! Why can't ever I be satisfied?
I am already blessed with so many things...at times I do wonder why and what else do I want, want those non necessary stuff.

I have a loving family.
I have a cozy roof above my head.
I'm well fed :D thank you mummy!
I have a 11 year old Kancil (sure beats the bus! I used to take the bus during my foundation year...I had to go to the bus station an hour an half to wait for the super reliable bus which i heard leaves every 15 minutes? ~it leaves in like half an hour actually)
I have a pretty neat notebook/laptop which is MINE!!
I have a nice cell phone.
I have wonderful friends.
I have good leaders.
I have basically everything!...I need...

but there are things which I do not need but think I need...I hate it.
I wish I didn't want those things. Why can't I be satisfied? I used to think twice before getting something I want. Do I want it? Do I need it?
I realized that this didn't defer me from getting it. Instead now I ask myself. Do I need it? Can I live without it? This helps.

sigh....

Are you satisfied with what you have? or do you wish you could have something? something more?

as of yesterday...9th February 2008 i am no longer a "P" driver.
I am now an official "C" driver. heheh....max points now 15 tho i didnt get any durin my "P" time.
someone i know who shall not be named and does read this got 6/15 points so far....(HI PA!!!)
and still doesnt quite admit it...

in my 2 years probationary period i had 3 accidents. ALL NOT MY FAULT. WRONG PLACE,WRONG TIME....uh...2 la...one my fault...hehh....first was at jien's place. some malay man drove into my kancil's side door. ouch! left a dent. second i drove over a curb in mmu parking lot. got grinding metal sound. must look carefully at the bottom of car to see the kemekness...thirdly at the main police headquarters traffic light junction, a car reversed...yep a car reverse at the lights right into me....dam sesat that guy...well thats all my accidents i had...

i drove 60 hours on the highway!! during my probationary 2 years.....first trip on highway....CAMERON HIGHLANDS!!! yep first highway trip...drooooove all the way....then numerous trips to KL,and Johor Bahru and once to Penang and Kukup.

my hols again is coming to an end. i believe it is about time to summaries it.
well first three days of my hols i attended Novel Suse Linux Enterprise Server 10 classes from 9am till 5pm....it was nice...learn a new OS basically....after that i installed Ubuntu 7.10 then tried using it.....nice...no viruses....and its FREE...no crack genuine or pirated software...

i went Sibaraku thrice....soon....after this post im going.....three weeks hols....Sibaraku thrice...not bad eh.....Sibaraku for those who dunno is teppanyaki style of jap eating? the chef fries the food in front of u then u eat....nice....simple localized jap food....my fav being the okonomiyaki(jap pancakes) and kushi yaki(something like satay minus the peanut sauce)

i painted grills and doors.....repaired locks and knobs.....fix nettings.....cleaned the house....
oh I'm blogging this on my "new" chair i got frm church who sold their old office chairs( the one with WHEELS!!! weeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!)

didn't do any baking this sem...was planning to do banana cake.....bah no mood....
started to watch Brady Bunch....not bad....

finished a game...(see below)

Driving ont the bridge....old bridge...nothing fancy....very narrow.....not nice....prefer the causeway wan....

bought this laser printer at the last pc fair...prints at only MYR 0.0733333 per page compared to my HP deskjet which prints at MYR 0.26 per piece...

oh see the black square thingy at the bottom...thats the .1 of my 2.1 speakers...bought quite some time ago second hand from a friend cause brand new it costs nearly 200 and i got it for 80 nia...it was a good bargain....
